Jeffrey T. Ganiban, President of Health Care Technology Services, advises healthcare organizations on matters concerning information technology, capital equipment procurement and service outsourcing. He has extensive experience structuring and negotiating enterprise-wide information system transactions for multi-facility healthcare systems and managed care organizations, including clinical and financial systems, ambulatory and inpatient electronic medical record systems, patient health record systems, electronic health information exchanges, patient and provider portal systems, picture archiving and communication systems, claims processing and payment systems, and disease management systems. 

In addition, Mr. Ganiban has represented large not-for-profit healthcare systems and academic medical centers in a wide variety of joint ventures with for-profit partners.

Mr. Ganiban is also partner with Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP, the parent company of Innovative Health Strategies, and is the head of Drinker Biddle’s Health Information Technology Task Force (the “HIT Task Force”).

In 2006, Nightingale’s Healthcare News named Mr. Ganiban an “Outstanding Health Transaction Lawyer.”

Mr. Ganiban received his B.A. magna cum laude in political science and history from Tufts University in 1986. He received his J.D. with highest honors in 1989 from the National Law Center at George Washington University, where he was a member of The George Washington University Law Review. Mr. Ganiban served as a law clerk to the Honorable Morton I. Greenberg, U.S. Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit, from 1989 to 1990. He studied as an Olmsted Fellow at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies from 1993 to 1994.

Mr. Ganiban is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and the Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and District of Columbia Bars.
